During the first week, they will take their written test for the learner license\/permit. Upon passing this test, students will be given a certificate that can then be taken up to the DPS to have their permit issued (provided they’re 15 years old, if they are 14 years old at the time of class, they will be eligible to receive it upon their 15th birthdate).
